Kayak Regional Park

Campground and day park with boat launch

If you are not from the Seattle area this park is perfect especially if you are a boater! You can launch your boat and camp which is a boaters dream in WA. The boating & crabbing in this area is amazing! In fact I've even water skied in this area the water is that smooth. Or if you like kayaking this is perfect as you can paddle for the day and cozy up to your camp fire at night. If you prefer to hike on short trails with views of the sound during the day and relax at night you can do that too. The camp ground also rents Yurts and the RV sites have hook ups. Even the kids make out here as there is a play ground that is amazing! I think I could live in this park but I don't think they allow long term. The only caution for boaters is there is a steep hill down to the launch and no place to tie your boat so you need a helper to hold the boat while you park. Oh if you hike around the south side you will see a cool cave that the kids will love. Enjoy the PNW at Kayak Regional Park.
