Day trip to Washington Park, Anacortes, WA.

Brian and I checked out the launch and trails at Washington Park in Anacortes. This was my first time and what a wonderful experience even in the rain. The scenery is amazing looking across to the San Jaun Islands on one side and toward deception pass on the other. You could spend a day walking around with the kids or dog and still not catch all the views. Noticed a couple families set up a canopy and cook stove to relax and visit while taking in the ocean view. The boat launch is very well maintained and parking for boat trailer is easy. Spend the day on the boat then hike the park and enjoy our breath taking PNW views!
